“Sing Like Crazy!”, as the tagline says, Watever Family KTV has launched the opening of its 15th branch in Mactan Town Center (MTC) in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City on Saturday, November 9.

The latest branch is the 4th Watever branch in Metro Cebu alone.

“Now nakadawat tag mga feedback gikan sa atong mga costumers nga nindot gyud ang atong rooms, ang atong food quality is the best gyud, delicious and affordable and ang atoa sang system (KTV) nindot gyud ug tingog, di gyud mo maghamay (We received positive feedback from our costumers about our general operations including the sound system, rooms and the food),” said Darren Ocampo, Watever MTC Manager.

Since its inception in 2010, Watever has successfully ventured into major cities in Visayas and Mindanao such as Cebu, Ilo-ilo, Bacolod, Davao, Cagayan de Oro among others. The opening of the second Watever in Cebu’s tourism-focused city is a testament to Watever’s value in the market and further solidifies Watever’s footing as the number one Family KTV in the Visayas and Mindanao.

“Ari ta nag open specifically sa MTC because booming kaayo ilang industrial sector (we open Watever in MTC because their industrial sector is booming) and we also tapped with their tourism sector here in Lapu-Lapu City. Being a tourist-centric city, we saw it as a chance to tap it to the tourism market as well with Watever having multi-linguistic songs that we can definitely cater to the foreigners,” said Gabriel Raphael Constatine Bumanglag, Marketing Head of Immense Purpose Holdings, Inc.

In 2018, there were 8,099,356 tourist arrivals in Central Visayas, 16-percent greater than the 6,974,674 in 2017. The Department of Tourism (DOT) is expecting the tourist arrivals to grow even more in 2019.

The concept of Watever started in 2010 when a group of friends who wanted to sing like crazy but could not find a place to sing their heart out. With no place to go, they finally thought of opening a KTV that is welcoming to friends and families, having a state-of-the-art sound system and budget friendly room prices.

With “Whatever” and “Whatever, major loser” as the main expressions used at that time, the group named their KTV place as Watever Family KTV and now serves as the top family KTV in the Visayas and Mindanao.

RATES AND PROMO

Watever Family KTV has small rooms (good for 6 persons) for only 99/hour and a VIP room (good for 20-30 persons) for 249/hour.

Don’t miss their “12 days to Christmas Promo” which they basically associate the rate of the rooms on the days before Christmas.

“In Watever, we have this tradition called “12 days of Christmas” where for example sugod sa 12th day before Christmas ang first hour nimu kay 12 pesos lang, then kung sa 11th day before Christmas ka mu anhi, 11 pesos lang imung first hour (on the 12th day before Christmas, your first hour is only 12 pesos, then on the 11th day before Christmas, your first hour is only 11 pesos) and so on and so forth” Bumanglag said.
