Malasakit Lounge in LTO-7 to Launch Soon
The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO)-7 takes pride in their upcoming Malasakit Lounge.
This was discussed during the Kapihan sa LTO yesterday, August 22 at the LTO-7 Regional Office in Cebu City.
The said program was led by LTO-7 Regional Vic Caindec.
Caindec said that the facility is already on its 90% completion and will be operational anytime soon.
Caindec said that the government didn’t spend any single cent since there were certain stakeholders and partners who pledged to shoulder the construction.
The Malasakit Lounge, located at the ground floor of the regional office of the LTO-7 is fully air-conditioned and also features free WiFi, elegant furniture, charging area with a built-in USB port, free coffee and water and many more.
“We want a project that they (people) will feel that we really care for them,” Caindec said.
LTO-7 is also planning to put up a separate coffee shop for people who wanted to enjoy brewed coffee and more.
Caindec cleared that the facility is absolutely free and open for all LTO-7’s clients.
“Free ni siya, way bayad but make sure lang pod nga duna kay legitimate transaction diri sa LTO (It is free, people no longer have to pay to use the facility but they just have to make sure that they have a legitimate transaction with the LTO),” Caindec said.
Meanwhile, the LTO Cooperative will be in-charge of the facility’s operations. (MLC)
