LTO-7 Guarantees to Complete Backlog Registration
The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) guarantees that all backlog vehicle registrations are already completed.
This was discussed during Kapihan sa LTO led by LTO-7 Regional Director Vic Caindec.
In charge of the Manufacturing, Assembler, Importer, Rebuilder, Dealer and Other Entities (MAIRDOEs) Yvonne Auza said that a certain technical problem was the primary reason why the processing of registrations were delayed but she also guaranteed to complete all registrations yesterday, August 12.
“Naa tay order karon gikan sa atong director nga i-cope up na siya dapat ma kumpleto siya (We have an order from our director to complete all registrations as soon as possible),” Auza said.
Auza also said that there were around 3,000 pending registration applications but they can process around 1,500 per day without the said technical problem.
Auza added that majority of pending applications were registration for motorcycles.
LTO-7 however reminded every concerned individual that upon submission of documents, they must make sure that they already paid all the fees required.
Meanwhile, LTO-7 Regional Director Vic Caindec said that the their office is doing everything to complete all backlog registrations.
“In the past few weeks we have been working very hard to audit kung asa dapit ang atong status sa new registration, mga papeles (In the past few weeks, we have been working very hard to audit the status of new registrations and documents.),” Caindec said. (MLC)
