Naga Mayor Pushes for Free Healthcare
City of Naga Mayor Valdemar “Val” Chiong pushes for free hospitalization charge for all Nagahanons.
He said that he is hoping that in the future, patients who are admitted at the Vicente Mendiola Center for Health will be free of charge.
This is part of his agenda regarding health aspects.
Meanwhile, Chiong ordered the city’s health board to make programs and agenda to fight off dengue since the national office of the Department of Health (DOH) recently declared National Dengue Alert.
Chiong has met all barangay captains to also discuss potential activities and programs against dengue that can be implemented in their respective areas.
The intensified anti-dengue campaign includes operation kulob and regular clean up drives.
Meanwhile, the city health board proposes that the national government can support them through Philhealth Point of Service System. (MLC)
