LTO-7 Launches Online Talk Show

The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO)-7 launched their new online talk show through the “Kapihan sa LTO” on July 24.

The show dubbed as “Road Safety: Sugyot sa Katawhan (People’s Suggestion) will be aired twice a month via Facebook Live.

LTO-7 Regional Director Victor Caindec himself led the launching together with LTO legal officer Vicente Gador, Ceres bus operations manager Rene Vecinal, Traffic Patrol Group Officer-in-charge (OIC) Maj. Alan Rosario and online influencer, motorcycle enthusiast and LTO-7 Ambassadress Ma. Rica “Jet Lee” Cabarrubias.

Caindec on his side explained that it is really important for a driver to be aware of road safety to avoid further traffic problems.

“Our point here is we will bring everyone home safely,” Caindec said.

Caindec also said that this talk show will also serve as a forum that is open for everyone especially for those who have questions and concerns regarding traffic rules and road safety.

In every session of the said talk show, LTO will discuss different agendas to give more information to motorists.

Meanwhile, Ma. Rica Cabarrubias also known as “Jet Lee” shared her experience as a rider for the past years.

She pointed out the importance of helmet and other safety gears for all motorcycle riders since she herself is a motorcycle enthusiast.

“Kanang helmet gamit kaayo na kay wala ta kabalo kung kanus.a mahitabo ang disgrasya ug kita mga rider di lang ta mag helmet tungod kay naay checkpoint, basta gani magsakay natag motor automatic gyud na dapat naka helmet ta (Wearing a helmet is very useful since accidents occur unexpectedly. The moment you ride your bike you should wear your helmet right away),” Cabarrubias said.
