Three Mayors in Metro Cebu To Conduct a Summit Addressing Traffic, Floods in Their Areas
Cebu City, Talisay City and Mandaue City led by mayor Edgardo Labella, mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas and mayor Jonas Cortes respectively, agreed to meet soon to look for ways to solve each cities problem especially on traffic and flood.
Cebu City mayor Edgardlo Labella said that they agreed to do the summit verbally but they still have to finalize every detail as of the moment.
Labella guaranteed that the summit will take place anytime soon.
Mayor Labella added that he wants to unite the three big cities and even other Local Government Units (LGUs) like certain municipalities in the northern and southern part of Cebu province to discuss future plans for traffic and transportation.
Meanwhile, Labella gave an order to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to help conduct dredging on different areas in Cebu City to avoid floods. (MLC)
