New Consolacion Police Chief to Take a Big Challenge
The Consolacion Police Station and the whole Municipality of Consolacion formally welcomed their new Chief Of Police on Monday, July 8, at the Social Hall of the Consolacion Municipal Hall.
Police Major Verniño Noserale, who was the former Chief of Police of the southern town of Minglanilla succeeded outgoing Consolacion Police Chief Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare.
PMaj. Pelare is now assigned at the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Branch of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).
The turnover ceremony was lead by CPPO Director Police Colonel Roderick Mariano, Consolacion Mayor Joannes “Joyjoy” Alegado and Vice Mayor Teresa “Nene” Alegado.
PMaj. Noserale said that it is a big privilege to be the Chief of Police in Consolacion since it is a first class Municipality.
However, Noserale explained that it won’t be an easy job for him since he will have to supervise and promote the town’s peace and order status but he guaranteed to bring out the best to make Consolacion safe.
Noserale pointed out that the challenge is great considering that the Consolacion Police Station became the 2018 best police station recognized by Camp Crame (Philippine National Police Headquarters).
Meanwhile, Mayor Alegado pledged his full support on the town’s police force to promote peace and order to its maximum extent. (MLC)
