COMELEC Turnovers Official Ballots to Cebu Treasurer’s Office

Commission of Elections (COMELEC) representatives officially turned over the official ballots for the 2019 National and Local elections to Cebu City Treasurer’s Office Officials.

The official ballots arrived at the Cebu City Hall on Monday, May 6, 2019.

COMELEC North District Election Officer Atty. Marchel Samo said that they are 90% ready while the 10% is for coordination with COMELEC partners.

Samo also said that COMELEC together with the police and barangays will ensure that no security incidents will happened during the elections. COMELEC will continue to coordinate with the police and barangays to ensure the security of the voters and also the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI).

The official ballots will then be distributed to a total of 759 clustered precincts (411 for South District and 348 for North District) on May 12, 2019 and on the dawn of May 13, 2019.
