Almost P21 million worth of coaster buses were turned over by the Cebu Provincial Capitol to the Cebu Cultural Center in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

A single coaster bus costs around P3 million and can accommodate 20 passengers and it is also fully air conditioned and equipped with 6 CCTV cameras.

Municipalities of Ginatilan, Tabogon, Cordova, San Fernando, Ronda, Tudela and Poro were the beneficiaries of the said coaster buses.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Mark Tolentino led the turn over activity and he expressed his happiness to the LGUs that received the coaster buses.

Tolentino explained that despite the absence of Governor JunJun Davide and Vice Governor Agnes Magpale to the said activity, their support and commitment will still continue to the whole province of Cebu.

Meanwhile, Tudela Mayor Erwin Yu said that these coaster buses are essential to the senior citizens and to the municipal basketball team for the governor’s cup and other events and activities.

On the other hand, Tabogon Mayor Ziegfred Duterte was also very thankful to the Cebu Provincial Government.

Duterte said that they will use these coaster buses for seminars and functions for social welfare (Senior Citizens and PWDs) and other agendas where their employees might go out of their town.

Poro Mayor Luciano Rama Jr. and Cordova Mayor Teche Sitoy Cho were also present during the turn over. (MLC)
