Neurocam: The Latest Device That Detects Your Interest
Neurowear, the Tokyo-based company is working on a device called the Neurocam which can read our brainwaves to determine our interests and emotions.
It will work through a headset called the MindWave Mobile, Neurocam and its accompanying software. This equipment will be able to scan our brainwaves to determine our interest as we look at the scene around us. For example if you were to look at something that interests you, your brainwaves would spike and the software will assign a value between 0 to 100 depending on the intensity of the spike, and the Neurocam will capture a five-second video when the interest value exceeds 60. The scene is saved together with timestamp and location, and can be shared socially on Facebook.
