PAGASA: ‘Habagat’ to Bring Rains to Northern, Central Luzon
Light to moderate rains over northern and central Luzon is expected on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
According to its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, cloudy skies and thunderstorms will prevail over CALABARZON, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos, Central Luzon, Davao and SOCCSKSARGEN.
The state-run weather bureau added Metro Manila will similarly experience light to moderate rains, along with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
PAGASA said other parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Northern and western Luzon, on the other hand, will experience moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to south causing coastal areas to be moderate to rough.
PAGASA noted other areas in Luzon will have light to moderate winds from the southeast to south affecting seas to be slight to moderate seas.
Other parts of the country, meanwhile, will experience slight to moderate seas from the west to northwest. (PNA) JMC/JLD
