Heavy Blast Targets AU Mission Base Near Mogadishu Airport

Mogadishu — A car laden with explosive devices rammed into the gate of Africa Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) military base in Halane near Mogadishu airport on Tuesday.

AU spokesman confirmed the attack to Xinhua by phone but gave no details on casualties. (PNA/Xinhua) JMC/CDN
