4 More Arrested in Pangasinan Drug Buy-Bust

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, July 18 (PNA) — Four more drug personalities in the watchlist were arrested by the police in connection with the intensified campaign against illegal drugs in separate towns of Pangasinan over the weekend.

Arrested by police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at about 6:30 a.m. of July 17 in Barangay M.H. Del Pilar, Bayambang, Pangasinan was James Rebamontan, 24.

Seized in that raid were 18 open transparent plastic sachets containing suspected residue of methamphetamine hydrochloride known as “shabu”, five used aluminum strips, one improvised glass tube, one used glass flash, and one transparent plastic straw found inside a bag at the storage room of the suspect’s residence.

Arrested in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Pogonsili, Aguilar was Christian Ferrer, 27, from whom one heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline granules suspected to be shabu; and two P100 bills used as marked money.

Meanwhile, a drug buy bust operation in Barangay Amancosiling Norte, Bayambang, Pangasinan resulted in the arrest of Christopher Wolf, 38, who was included in the drug watch list personality of the Bayambang police after handling one heat-sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu to a poseur-buyer who used marked money of P500.

One German Velasco, 38, was also arrested in Sitio Silungan, Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City, in another buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of the Dagupan City Police Station when he also sold one sachet of shabu to a confidential agent of the police.
