UN Condemns Nice Attack

The UN Security Council strongly condemns the “barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack” in Nice, France during Bastille Day celebration wherein a man drove a truck through a crowd,  killing at least 80 people.

The council unanimously adopted a French-drafted statement that “condemned in the strongest terms” the attack.

The council also expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
