The southwest monsoon or hanging habagat will continue to bring rains on Tuesday in most parts of the country especially in Luzon, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

For Tuesday forecast, the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CAR, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON and Western Visayas. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the northern and western sections of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Winds will be light to moderate coming from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.

The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the fisherfolks are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JMC/CLTC
