Mega Cebu Holds Series Of Candidates’ Forums

Mega Cebu will once again hold a series of candidates’ forums for electoral candidates in Mega Cebu districts from April 13 to April 20.

The fora will feature congressional and mayoral candidates in Mega Cebu areas who will discuss how they plan to ensure that the rapid economic progress in Cebu does not get derailed by unplanned growth.

The fora will kick off today with candidates from District 1 or Carcar City, Naga City, Talisay City, Minglanilla, and San Fernando.

As part of the kick-off ceremony, a Kapihan sa PIA will be held within today’s forum from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with guests from the organizing team of the candidates fora.

The Kapihan is aired live over DYMR Radyo ng Bayan and delayed telecast over Sky Cable Channel 61 in the afternoon of the same day.

The next candidates forum is on April 15 for District 6 (Mandaue City, Consolacion, Cordova, Lapu-Lapu), followed by Cebu City North and South Districts on April 18 in the morning and Lapu-Lapu City lone district in the afternoon.

Cebu province candidates for governor and vice-governor will be on April 20.

The Mega Cebu Candidates’ Fora is held at the Plenary Hall of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) in Cebu City.
