Fair Weather Continues On Monday Except In North Luzon
Fair weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday as the northeast monsoon or “hangin amihan” continues to be the dominant weather system affecting the country, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
For Monday’s forecast, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains will over the regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains is expected over the Ilocos Region.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The state-run weather bureau issued a gale warning due to strong to gale force winds associated with the northeast monsoon as the sea condition would be moderate to rough in the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon.
“Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are alerted against rough to very rough seas,” it warned.
It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
