The Search Is On For Miss Cebu 2016

The city government here led by Mayor Michael Lopez Rama through its Cebu City Tourism Commission or CCTC has announced that they are now accepting applicants for the Search for Miss Cebu 2016.

The annual beauty-and-brain pageant which is a project of the City Government of Cebu through the CCTC and other stakeholders is one of the highlights of the Sinulog Festival celebration. It also serves as a search for the city’s official representative and spokesperson.

Applicants must be single, Filipino citizen, with pleasing personality, at least 5’3” in height, of good moral character, at least a graduating high school student this school year, fluent in English, a resident of Cebu for three years, 18 years of age by October 1 this year and not turning 25 years old on December 1 also this year, willing to travel and to reign for a one-year term, and not a participant of other beauty searches for the duration of the pageant.

At least 12 finalists will be chosen as official candidates that will undergo training and workshops prior to the Coronation Night. Accepting of applications is already on going while screening and important dates to remember will be announced soon.

Application forms are available at the CCTC Office located at the 2nd floor of Rizal Public Library and Museum Building along Osmeña Boulevard this city and look for Ms. Cinbeth Orellano or call at 412-4355.
