ZOPO Introduces 4G Large-Screen Smartphones Worldwide
Shenzhen, China — While monitoring firms in the last year acknowledged a slowdown in the growth of the market for smartphones in general, they also noted sharp increases in shipments of large-screen smartphones. According to data released by Canalys, over one third of smartphones worldwide deployed 5-inch and larger displays, while shipments of large-screen smartphones increased by up to 369 per cent during the first quarter of this year. In particular, Apple, which has traditionally shunned the larger screens, has launched its first large-screen smartphones – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. ZOPO brand chief said that with the aim of taking a share the large-screen mobile phone market, the smartphone manufacturer launched two 4G large-screen phones – ZP320 and ZP520 – in August, with simultaneous release in markets worldwide.
ZOPO’s 4G large-screen smartphone ZP520 has attracted attention from European markets since its introduction. ZOPO ZP520’s features include a 5.5-inch IPS large screen, a fashionable super-thin look, the latest Android operating system, 4G access with a download speed up to 150Mbps, one-second connection QQ video call, zero-buffer HD video watching and the capability to upload and download super-capacity files in minutes and seconds. ZOPO ZP320 deploys a 5-inch screen, considered the best size for holding a phone with one hand.
ZOPO tapped international markets as early as in 2012, with ZOPO outlets now located in 32 countries, including Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Malaysia and the Netherlands. With the introduction of 4G large-screen products ZP320 and ZP520, the phone maker has further improved its after-sales service network, rolled out a protection plan for blue-shield services and opened a new international customer service center in Hong Kong. ZOPO’s spokesperson has revealed that its upcoming 4G large-screen product will be equipped with an 8-core, 64-bit processor and fingerprint identification functionality. (PR Newswire)
