What Crisis Brings Us?

“Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the Lord, and made vows.” Jonah 1:16

“But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel” Philippians 1:12

What are some of the blessings that can come from my times of crisis?

God’s transforming power often touches us most deeply in times of crisis. Sometimes a crisis helps to clear away our mundane clutter so that we see life and its priorities clearly. How we react to times of crisis show us our characters and can determine what others think about Christ. As a child of God, we are ‘walking Bibles’. That’s is why how respond to crisis is crucial. Remember, we have a gospel-sharing purpose -always, whenever, wherever. Anyway, while it may be hard to believe now that God indeed uses our crisis towards something beneficial, we can trust that He will definitely bring back the light into our darkness. He is our hope, and our future.

“But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” 1 Peter 4:13
