Skechers Nite Owl: Run Safety at Night

Running post-sunset or pre-sunrise may not be ideal, but for runners who are working during daylight- mornings are overloaded with pending tasks and last-minute reports, making the dusk the most convenient time to run.

When lampposts carve shadows over empty streets, runners also know their risks : unseen potholes, inattentive drivers.

To better address the runner’s safety needs, Skechers Performance Division has introduced an innovation exclusive to its top performance brand Skechers GOrun called the Nite Owl, which is designed to glow in the dark.

Skechers Nite Owl features the banner technology of the Skechers GOrun series—the midfoot strike (M-Strike) technology.

Inspired by barefoot running, the principles of minimalism encourages runners to run more naturally by positioning the body for a mid-foot strike in order to run faster, stronger, and longer.

Carrying the same feature as its pioneer comes the release of the Skechers Nite Owl 2.0, under GOrun3 and GOrun Ride 3, enhanced with photoluminescent technology which makes the running shoes glow when exposed to darkness or in low-light conditions.

The Skechers Nite Owl 2.0 offered in the new colors, hot pink and lime for ladies and green for men.

Nite Owl 2.0 is available in Ayala Center Cebu and SM City Cebu.
