Rock Unlimited : A Night of Different Rock Genres

A/G Fire Up Events and Entertainment in coordination with The Headquarterz presents Rock Unlimited : A Night of Different Rock Genres this June 20, 2015 8:30pm at The Headquarterz.

Bands slated to perform include Paltik to present the rock & roll genre. Rock and roll (often written as rock & roll or rock ‘n’ roll) is a genre of popular music that originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, primarily from a combination of predominantly African-American genres such as blues, boogie woogie, jump blues, jazz, and gospel music, together with Western swing and country music.

Purple Kush for blues & rock. Blues rock is a musical genre combining elements of blues and rock. It is mostly an electric ensemble-style music with instrumentation similar to electric blues and rock.

Break Offenders for Alternative Rock. Alternative rock (also called alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a genre of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular by the 1990s.

Last but never the least, Catherine’s Sundae for Grunge and classic rock. Classic rock is a radio format which developed from the album-oriented rock (AOR) format in the early 1980s. In the United States, the classic rock format features music ranging generally from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, primarily focusing on commercially successful hard rock popularized in the 1970s.
