Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) says they will deploy police officers in the five major cemeteries in Cebu City during the observance of Kalag-Kalag or Undas this year.

Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) chief Col. Josefino Ligan said that they will set up advance command posts (ACPs) in the big cemeteries city and police assistance desks (PAD) in the smaller cemeteries in the city.

This is to ensure that security and the observance of the health safety protocols are ensured during the Kalag-Kalag.

Ligan added that the Cebu City government will open cemeteries starting on October 18 to allow early visitors to enter cemeteries.

Office of Acting Mayor Michael Rama consultant Atty. Collin Russel said that only fully vaccinated residents are allowed to enter cemeteries during November 1 and November 2. (ASC)
