Newly-Identified Drug Personality Shot Dead in Canlaon City
A “newly-identified” drug personality, from whom suspected shabu was recovered, was shot by an unidentified suspect or suspects and was declared dead on arrival at a hospital in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental over the weekend.
The victim, identified by the police as Reynaldo Dadula, 38, temporarily residing in Sitio Maluco, Barangay Tagbino in Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and expired at the Canlaon District Hospital.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim went to the Canlaon City National High School Annex Campus to guide a dump truck loaded with filling materials.
While on his way home on board his motorcycle, the suspect or suspects shot him with a .45-caliber pistol, hitting him in different parts of his body.
Responding police personnel recovered four pieces of fired cartridges of caliber .45, the victim’s motorcycle, his sling bag containing cash, mobile phones and other personal belongings and 10 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu from the crime scene. (PNA)
