NBI 7 Starts Manhunt Vs. Wanted Cops
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) 7 started its the manhunt operation against the three cops accused of killing lawyer Noel Archival, although it was not confirmed yet whether the three accused was in custody of Camp Crame.
Earlier this week, NBI 7 Director Max Salvador send a letter to the Personnel Holding Administrative Section to inquire the whereabouts of the three former highway patrol cops.
On Tuesday, the Archival family said the accused were not found in the holding center of Camp Crame following the issuance of the warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 26 in Argao, Cebu.
The warrant was issued against Sr. Supt. Romualdo Iglesia, Sr. Insp.Joeslito Lerion and PO1 Alex Bacani.
The family of the slain lawyer said they received information that the three accused were no longer in the country.
Nelson Archival, brother of Noel and Talamban barangay councilor, is scheduled to fly to Camp Crame today to confirm the said report.
Lawyer Noel Archival, along with companions, was ambushed last February while traversing Barangay Coro, Dalaguete town.
