Mitos Opposes to Privatization of Government Hospitals

Senatorial candidate Milagros “Mitos” Magsaysay earlier today warned that the privatization of government entities like hospitals will only bring more sufferings to the poor who most need them.

Magsaysay, who is here in Cebu for a series of campaign sorties, said privatizing government hospitals is an anti-poor move. She said the government, if it could no longer stand the expenses of these public ventures, should find other ways to sustain these hospitals. Magsaysay added that if this privatization will not be stopped, there will be nothing left to cater the government’s low-income citizens.

Magsaysay, a United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) candidate for senator, is here for a series of campaign sorties.
