Mediterranean-Inspired Restaurant Opens Its Doors To Diners

It’s finally here in Cebu, a thousand flavors in one place–the Fuzion Gourmet.  It is situated right at the heart of Cebu City at Mango Square Mall in Gen. Maxilom Avenue.  The restaurant’s original concept done by the owner Divina Veloso-Couvreaux, whose roots come from Leyte.  She has traveled to different parts of the world and settled in Europe particularly in Paris, France, where she developed her love and passion for cooking.

She became known for her food innovations and later on became an in demand consultant in several gourmets here and abroad.  After several years of helping develop the gourmet industry here in the Philippines, Couvreaux then decided to put up her own Café, Deli and Restaurant .

Fuzion Gourmet soft opened last July 20, 2013.  Customers both from the local and foreign community enjoyed the sumptuous foods at the restaurant.  It’s cozy and original restaurant design, from the ceiling to the customized tables and chairs make the restaurant totally different. Fuzion Gourmet gives a relaxing Mediterranean ambiance.

It has a wide array of good food from different countries at very affordable prices.  It has a wide selection of different pastas, cakes, deli products such as Hungarian sausages, different kinds of ham  and cheese from  all over the world, not to mention locally produced cheeses  from Davao.  It also has selections of imported wines.

At P100, one can already have a full meal at Fuzion Gourmet, which includes drinks. The Cafe, Deli and Restaurant also serve cafes, latest wrap sandwiches from different parts of the world, assorted fresh raviolis and specialties from France.   Students from nearby schools feast on house specialties such as the crispy chicken, back ribs and pork barbeque meal.  Foreign customers buy deli products, sandwiches, burgers and meals such as the Chicken Tajine, Seared Tuna, Fuzion Burger, Roma Burger,  Grilled Lamb Chops, Turkey Fillet, Seabass, and Bacalao Ragout,  just to name a few.  Fuzion Gourmet also specializes on different kinds of Green Salad, such as the Greek Salad, Nicoise Salad, Pasta and Smoked Salmon Salad. It also has delicious and affordable cakes to choose from.

Aside from the restaurant in Mango Square Mall, the restaurant has extended its doors to a more relaxing place in Alta Vista, Pardo Cebu City.  It caters team buildings, business functions, parties, weddings and birthday receptions  at its very own private luxurious place overlooking the city of Cebu.  It is an extension of what the restaurant could offer, good food and a wonderful ambiance.
