Magnitude 4.3 Quake Jolts Davao Oriental
(PNA) — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck the province of Davao Oriental on Monday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).In its bulletin, the agency said the tremor occurred at 2:49 a.m. with the epicenter traced 64 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso town in Davao Oriental.
The agency noted that the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a very shallow depth of 59 kilometers.
It added that there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake. (PNA) LAM/CLTC
