Islands Pasalubong Brings Luzon’s Delicacies to Cebu
Cebuanos can now taste the flavours of Luzon as Islands Pasalubong brings to the Queen City of the South variety of all-time favorite delicacies and specialty items from different places of Northern part of the Philippines through its “Luzon Pasalubong Festival”.
The first-time ever Luzon Pasalubong Festival is designed to cater Cebuanos and tourists who crave for nothern food products and items.
“The Islands Team really scoured the whole Luzon from way up in Benguet-Ilocos down to Quezon in search of the best and most popular local delicacies and pasalubong items. Now, everyone can experience that nostalgic feeling this Christmas of reminiscing flavours from te past as we bring to you these specialty food items,” says Jay Aldeguer, CEO of Islands Group.
The Luzon Pasalubong showcases the best of the country’s delicacy brands including the very popular Good Sheperd products such as Ube and Strawberry jam, Jelly, Lengua de Gato, Alfajor, Peanut brittle among others, Mikasan chocolate-covered cornflakes and tartland lengua de gato- all from Baguio; Romana’s Peanut Brittle from Pangasinan; Tita’s pastillas de leche, Gonzales pastillas, Daboy’s chicharon from Bulacan; Ocampo Turrones de Casuy and Mamon tostado from Pampanga; Namnamas cornick from Ilocos; Chocovron Polvoron products, Villa Socorro Sabanana chips and Rosing’s sampalok from Laguna; Mazapan sweets broas from Quezon; also, the best frozen products of Luzon like Bagnet from Batac and Vigan, Ilocos longganisa, tapang taal and many more.
With the Islands Pasalubong Luzon festival, the northern escapade of flavors and tastes from different provinces in the Philippines made more reachable to the Cebuanos.
