Get Perfect Brows!
I cannot stress enough how important it is to have your brows shaped. They frame the face and work wonders when formed correctly. Notice how people will listen to you more intently as often when you have clean brows. Here’s how to make them look pretty and polished!
1.Find your shape. To find where a brow should start, place a pencil against your nose and line it up straight with the inner corner of your eye. To guid you better use your white eyeliner to mark where it hits. To find your brows’ natural end point, angle the pencil from your nose to your outermost lashes then mark that spot. To find your arch or the highest point of your brows, angle the pencil from your nose across your pupil- the dark round center of your eyes. And always be mindful of your brow’s natural shape!
2.Start plucking! Take that white eyeliner you used and shade over the eyebrow hairs you want to remove so you know which part to pluck. Pull them out the direction where they grow: plucking them in the opposite direction can cause the hair to break! Tweezing can hurt the first time and shaving will be risky especially when it’s your first time. So make do with your tweezers to be safe.
TIP: To have a less-painful experience tweeze after the shower: warm water helps in softening of your skin and the hair comes out easier. Another alternative: place an ice cube on your brow area before plucking. It numbs the area and makes tweezing a cinch! You can also do this after plucking to soothe the pain. Brush on a little eyebrow gel or clear mascara and you’re good to go!
