CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH

Spectators gather in this scene that depicts the passion and death of Jesus Christ on the cross, a great sacrifice that shows his unconditional love for humanity.

Street Dramas in this year’s 17th Buhing Kalbaryo held in Brgy. Guadalupe on Good Friday portrayed scenes of Jesus’ journey- from his entry into Jerusalem, his sorrowful walk to the Calvary up to his crucifixion and death.

The dramas held in each station that started in Brgy. San Nicolas up to Brgy. Guadalupe, were adopted from Catholic’s devotional act where devotees commemorate the passion and death of Jesus Christ in 14 stations, commonly known as Stations of the Cross.
