Cebu’s First Italian Ice is Here!

Ice Monkees kicked off on June 18 to bring you your new favorite icy dessert.

Ice Monkees is offering the first Italian ice dessert in Cebu, bringing you the best of sorbet and snow cones without the dairy.

Ice Monkees may be new, but it has a distinguishable taste and texture of an ice candy as their tagline says, “The Ultimate Ice Candy Experience!.”

It is made of fruit-flavored shaved ice. You can mix different flavors to create your own personal flavor.

Ice Monkees was born out of the different experiences of the team. The owners first experienced Italian Ice outside children’s schools in New York and have been consuming it for 10 years.

Ice Monkees was then brought this year in Cebu after it was first planned arrival last Sinulog 2020, in which the COVID-19 pandemic started to break out in Cebu.

The team also planned to bring Ice Monkees on Sinulog 2022 but was hindered again by Typhoon Odette.

Still, team Ice Monkees never gave up and showcased their product to Cebuanos — talk about resilience!

You can try your first Ice Monkees at their pop-up store at Escario Central which is open daily from 2 PM to 10 PM until July. The team also plans to open a store at City Mall and SM City Cebu sometime this year.

Ice Monkees are offering three sizes: the Mini Tarsier (P99 2 scoops), Medium Chimp (149 3 scoops), and Monster Gorilla (P199 5 scoops)
