Culinary Arts Program includes subjects like Spa and Health Cuisine, which is into the health, vegan cooking, Filipino Cuisine (a distinction of the school knowing that it is a Filipino-run school), and an on-the-job-training for five to six months required as much as possible in five star hotels and specialty restaurants.
The Baking and Pastry Arts Program boasts of lessons on Introduction to the Art and Science of Baking; Quick Breads and Cookies; Pies, Tarts and Pastry; and Custard, Pudding, Mousses and Souffles among others under the supervision of Pastry Chef Nick Garcia.
Adventurous ones who just want to try out the feeling of being in control in the kitchen at least once in their lives need to fret as short-term courses are also offered by the school. These are Professional Development Culinary Workshops which may be for teachers and professional cooks who want to upgrade their cooking skills among others; Recreational Cooking which is includes barkada-bonding cooking/baking sessions, corporate team-building cooking sessions, half-day or whole day culinary courses for tourists, and short courses on baking. There is also the Food Processing and Preservation Course which teaches one on how to process meat like bacon, tocino, ham and others; and fruit and vegetable processing in the likes of fruit jams and preserve.
Truly, one can experience superior quality of culinary education at PSCA with dynamic world-class culinary programs centered on intensive individualized hands-on training under experienced professional chef instructors in a spacious, well-equipped kitchen facility. Other facilities of PSCA are library, spice and herb gardens.
