Big Time Drug Pusher Nabbed In Zamboanga City

Anti-narcotic operatives have arrested an alleged big time drug pusher and seized 50 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu worth PHP85,000 in a buy-bust operation in this city, an official announced Thursday.

Joseph Ladip, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional director, identified the suspect as Bobby Enriquez, a resident of Barangay Lower Calarian, this city.

Ladip said Enriquez was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in front of a grocery in Barangay Lower Calarian.

Ladip said Enriquez was arrested after he handed over 50 grams of shabu to an undercover agent in exchange for PHP85,000.

He disclosed the buy-bust operation was carried out following surveillance on the suspect’s illicit activity.

He said Enriquez will be charged for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA) BNB/TPGJR
