Amazon Site Leaks New Kindle Paperwhite Models

To the loyal Kindle users and enthusiasts, this new version of Paperwhite that includes a high-end “Signature Edition” might be just to your liking.

On Amazon’s Canadian and Mexican sites (now removed), a comparison chart was created to showcase the new Kindle Paperwhite and Paperwhite Signature Edition models.

The current Paperwhite only has a 6-inch display and just four LEDs while the new ones are reported to have 6.8-inch 300 ppi displays and 17 LEDs.

The new models both have a new flush-front design and an adjustable warm light for eyesight sensitivity of its readers. This means that both models will likely have white and amber LEDs for said light just like the high-end Kindle Oasis. The Signature Edition offers 32GB storage and wireless charging with auto-adjusting light sensors.

Both models are also waterproof.

The current price listing in Canada shows Paperwhite at CAD150 and Paperwhite Signature Edition at CAD210, but those could just be placeholders.
