SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “Josie” was estimated based on all available data at 470 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.5° N, 123.2° E) with maximum sustained winds of up to 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving Northwest at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.
FORECAST: Occidental Mindoro, Palawan and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with monsoon rains, while Eastern and Central Visayas will have occasional rains due to Southwest Monsoon.
Moderate to strong winds from the Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and Visayas with moderate to rough seas.
