VISAYAS WEATHER FORECAST: Feb. 15, 2018

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (formerly Tropical Depression “BASYANG”) was estimated based fom all available data at 240 km South Southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (7.8N, 119.6E). Tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.

FORECAST:
Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA. Eastern Samar and Samar will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Tail-end of a cold front. Cebu, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

Moderate to strong winds from the East to Northeast will prevail over Palawan and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds will prevail over Visayas, and Occidental Mindoro with slight to moderate seas.
