PDEA is Hiring New Agents

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the country’s lead agency in its anti-illegal drugs campaign, is currently on the lookout for eligible candidates to join its roster of Drug Enforcement Officers (DEOs).

Recruits will undergo a six-month comprehensive and regimented training program at the PDEA Academy, in Silang, Cavite, and will have an entry-level position of Intelligence Officer 1 (IO1), a permanent item with Salary Grade 11.

The Agency is presently accepting applicants with the following qualifications: must be (a) 21–35 years old, men and women, (b) at least 5′ 2″ in height for men and 5′ in height for women, (c) holder of a Baccalaureate Degree, and (d) Career Service Professional Eligible, Board Passer, or qualified by the Civil Service Commission under Special Laws.

Interested individuals are enjoined to prepare the following documentary requirements: (a) Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form Number 212, downloadable at www.csc.gov.ph) (original copy), (b) NSO-issued Birth Certificate (photocopy), (c) Official Transcript of Records (photocopy), (d) College Diploma (photocopy), and (e) Certification of Eligibility (photocopy) / Report of Rating (photocopy).

Also, the applicant’s mobile number/s and email address/es must be duly indicated in his or her Personal Data Sheet (PDS).

Applications may be submitted through personal delivery at PDEA Regional Office 7 Doña Modesta Gaisano St., Sudlon, Lahug, or PDEA Academy Liaison Office/Clinic, PDEA National Headquarters, NIA Northside Road, National Govenrment Center, Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City; through courier Service at PDEA Academy, Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Tartaria, Silang, Cavite; or through e-mail at pdea_acad@yahoo.com.
