Philippines Condemns Terror Attacks in London
The Philippines on Sunday strongly condemned the appalling attacks in London, as it conveyed its deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who perished and those who were injured.
“These attacks are evidently calculated to strike terror in the hearts of all peace-loving peoples, which deserve the condemnation of the entire international community,” the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said in a statement.
While the nationalities of the victims have not yet been released, the DFA said the Philippine Embassy in London is closely monitoring the situation and is in touch with the Filipino community to ascertain their condition.
It said the Philippines confirmed its solidarity with the United Kingdom and her people in mourning the loss of innocent lives and praying for the speedy recovery of those who were injured.
