Nike Finally Has Curvy Model

Nike Women’s Instagram account is followed by over 4.8 million people who enjoy images of various, diverse ladies endorsing the products. However, curvy women seem to be missing from the set of models.

It all changed when Nike commissioned plus-size model Paloma Elsesser. The photo was of Elsesser standing in a bra and leggings demonstrating hot to tell if your sports bra fits correctly.

Amazingly, the post did not mention anything about her being plus-size, or any indication that there was something different about the image compared to the rest.

Nike is normalizing the idea that women of all shapes and sizes care about fitness. The bras they offer are up to a size XL or E.
