The Beauty of Apo Island

Apo Island is one of the top diving and snorkeling destinations in the Philippines. Situated in southeastern Negros Oriental, Apo Island is under the municipality of Dauin but is best accessed from the town of Zamboanguita. It is also a place where one can enjoy swimming with the turtles (100% assured seeing Green sea turtles of varying sizes) at the same time helping communities maintain the protection of the marine reserve.

Upon entering the island, guests register with the Protected Areas information center. Briefing for large groups is also conducted here. You may picnic along the beach or rent one of the cottages managed by the locals. Locals also has standard package for plated seafood meals although one may bring their own food or ask the local to cook freshly caught seafood.
