Pag-ibig Gives Loyalty Card for Members

The Home Mutual Development Fund or Pag-ibig is now providing additional services to its members from house financing, cash loans, and the latest one, the “loyalty card” which is given to each of these members, Dale Mark F. Antonio, head frontliner services 1, of Pag-ibig Cebu South Office, said.

Antonio said a Loyalty card means a discount card on various products and services from the establishments which are considered as Pag-ibig partners. He added that any Pag-ibig member can avail on this opportunity to have a loyalty card by applying this personally at any Pag-ibig office with a P100 application fee, or through a negotiation between the management of any government or private offices and the Pag-ibig outlet.

According to Antonio, in a management deal with Pag-ibig, the Pag-ibig secretariat and its membership facilities, such as computer machines, papers and Pag-ibig personnel will be brought to the said office-applicant for a proper recording of all its personnel.

He said the Pag-ibig management has given a quota of 200,000 applications nationwide from March 1,2014 to September 30, 2014 on its first phase.

Antonio explained that they have four offices which are processing all loyalty card applications around the country such as Cebu Pag-ibig North Office and Cebu Pag-ibig south office, all of Cebu City for the Visayas Pag-ibig members, Davao City Pag-ibig office for all Mindanao Pag-ibig members and Bagiuo City Pag-ibig office for all National Capital region Pag-ibig members.

He added that up to this period, all the four Pag-ibig offices which are authorized to process all loyalty card applications have a total of 158,653 accomplishments or processed loyalty card applications.

These are divided by the following as of this very moment, 56,000 plus in Pag-ibig Cebu north, more than 42,000 in Pag-ibig Cebu south, 16,000 plus in Baguio City Pag-ibig office and more than 33,000 for Davao office.

The 200,000 quotas were also divided by the four Pag-ibig core outlets wherein 60,000 for Pag-ibig Cebu north, 70,000 for Pag-ibig Cebu South, 20,000 for Baguio City Pag-ibig office and 50,000 for Davao City Pag-ibig office.

Antonio also said taht if the September 30 deadline for the first phase will lapse, they have to take a rest for two to three months later, and then proceed openly the project.

He said that by this time all problems which are encountered by Pag-ibig within the first phase are already traced and therefore the following operations will have an assurance of smooth and order.

They have already negotiated with private hospitals, universities and colleges, shipping companies,airlines, gasoline stations and other private establishments in compliance with the public and private partnership law of the government, he added.

He also assured all Loyalty card holders to have a fair discount on anything they buy or from any services they ought to have from any establishments which are Pag-ibig so- called partners.
