Land Asia Realty Marks 21st Year Anniversary
What only started as a small business fueled by the deep concern to help the Cebuanos by providing them decent housing projects, now expands to be a diversified conglomerate that is embracing the world today, and beyond.
Land Asia Realty’s birth transpired in one of the meetings conducted by a group (seven of them) of young Cebuano leaders who were members of the civic organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) Cebu Jaycees then, taking active roles in the cause-driven initiatives they initiated at that time. That was somewhere in 1991-1992 that the likes Koko Holganza, Nigel Paul Villarete and Ric Inting, to name a few, saw the possibility of tapping the existing developers at that time to support their cause.

A year after when the members had their other new taken responsibilities of their own, some members of the group decided to sell their shares of the company. Ric Inting happened to buy those shares thus, was able to own the company by 99 percent in 1993.
Land Asia Realty nailed several milestones in the real estate landscape since it started, both here in the Philippines and abroad. Land Asia pioneered the miniature exhibits of development projects that we often see held in malls now. The company started the concept as a contribution to the industry.
Inting, with his team, has also been selflessly helping out development projects through consultancy by providing good, creative inputs that benefit a lot of their clientele. Crown Regency for one, of the King Properties, gained followers of its Sky Experience Adventure outdoor amenities such as the Edge Coaster, Skywalk and Sky Extreme among others, which were suggested by Inting beforehand. According to Inting, the concept was patterned to that in amusement facilities in Las Vegas, U.S.A., where he spent most of his real estate brokerage career in, apart from Philippines.
Flanked with a ‘family’ of 1, 000 professional, licensed and accredited real estate brokers who labor day in and out to render the utmost service possible to clients, Land Asia Realty had taken on numerous projects from developers such as Primary Homes, Cebu Landmasters, Filinvest, Ayala land, Nexland, Apple One Properties, Inc., Kaiser Estates, Grand Land, Arienza Land, Landtraders World Properties Corp., Pueblo De Oro Dev’t Corp., 8990 Housing, and Kings Porperties among many others. To these clients, they offer services on property management, consultancy appraisal, construction, sales and land development.

Land Asia Realty also partnered with Camella Homes, during its early birthing stages two decades ago. In 1998, Inting and his team were able to organize a strange concept at that time in brokerage which later on gained acceptance in the market–memorial marketing. “At that time, people find it strange to be buying memorial plans, but I led it by conducting educational campaigns, explaining the benefits of investing in memorial,” Inting quipped. Due to the good market response, Land Asia was able to expand to Davao after one year under the flagship product of memorial brokerage.
Inting had to study at the same time in Australia to gain more knowledge on the industry. “I received an invite from Australia to study real estate in Sydney…For me that was a good chance for me to learn,” he said. He studied at the Real Estate Institute in New Southwales for three months.
Fast forward, and after bagging recognitions both for him and the company, Inting got to experience realty in U.S.A., polishing further his skills and accrediting as a certified licensed international property specialist or realtor. An American real estate company, Vision One Real Estate of Nevada, offered him the job. With his own family at his back in the Philippines to run his own company in his absence Inting didn’t think twice to grab the opportunity offered to him.
With years of experience spent thereafter, he gained a loyal customer based abroad, which aided Land Asia Realty and Development Corp. (LARDC) to land where it is now. Inting moved on from the previous company he worked with and committed with another, leading to his own business here in the Philippines to expand abroad. Apart from its Philippine hub, Land Asia also now holds offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Carson City, California. It also has its list of accredited real estate brokers as well abroad.
Land Asia markets over 300 projects from its 100 Philippine-based developer-clients, here and abroad. “What sets us apart is that we’re the only real estate company that has a physical presence abroad, and has a licensed realtor abroad,” Inting shared during their anniversary celebration.
Ric on his other passion: singing
A music aficionado and a singer hobbyist himself, Inting envisions his company expand to other cities in the Philippines and states in U.S.A. When asked about his secret of success, he noted: ” Honesty. Help. Share.” “We have a 21st anniversary (of the company) because of our people. Honest, real people are the contributors of our success. We won’t be like this, Land Asia now, without them,” Inting punctuated.
Ric Inting is husband to Marissa, realtor and president of LARDC. They are endowed with three sons namely Ray Marc, Ryan Michael and Rhett Marvin.
