Pack Light and Enjoy Sinulog 2020
Sinulog 2020 is just around the corner—Cebu’s grandest festival and dubbed as the mother of all festivals in the Philippines.
Sinulog Festival is celebrated every third Sunday of January. It is a religious event in honor of the Child Jesus, Señor Santo Niño. A 9-day novena is celebrated where people attend the mass to pray to Señor Santo Niño at the Basilica del Santo Niño.
Aside from the religious aspect of the festival, the Sinulog festival is also famous for its street parties and parades. Graceful dancers wear colorful tribal costumes to dance the “Sinulog” on the streets of Cebu.
Millions of devotees and tourists from different parts of the country and around the world are expected to come. Packing the right stuff is key to a comfortable and stress-free Sinulog celebration.
