8 Arrested in a Family-Run Drug Den in Cebu City, P108k Worth of Drugs Nabbed

A family-run drug den was dismantled in a buy-bust operation by Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office VII (PDEA RO VII) in Sitio Mabuhay, Brgy. Luz, Cebu City, March 25, 2019.

Around 9:00 pm, operatives launched the buy-bust operation in the area and proceeded to transact with the target of the operation, drug den maintainers: Remedios Lazarte, 63 and Carillo Lazarte, 22.

After the transaction was made operatives immediately cuffed the targets and arrested the drug den visitors Lelet Luna, 29; Carmilita Fajardo, 28; Archie Fajardo, 28; Clint Octaviano, 48; Antonio Adlawan III, 27; and a 17-year-old minor.

Operatives found 18 packs of of suspected crystal meth locally known as ‘shabu’ weighing 15 grams with an estimated value of P102,000.

Assorted drug paraphernalia, 4 packs with residue, P2,150 cash and a cellular phone were also recovered in the operation. (ASC)
