Y101 FM Revives Corporate Cup
Y101 Armscor Corporate cup is back after a four-year hiatus, but the four-man team event will be gunning again on July 17 at the par-72 Cebu Country Club and is open only to a maximum of 50 teams.
Martha Tuason, chairperson of GVM Radio/ TV Corp., better known as Y101, said the tournament,which was held in 2011, will continue to be a very exciting event with exciting prizes and entertainment to all participants.
Each team must be composed of four players representing a corporation or any business entity. Entry fee for the event has been pegged at Php 12,000 per team.
The tournament will be using the modified Stableford scoring system with three-fourths of the July 1 handicaps to be applied. Only the three best scores of the team members will count for the team total.
Those interested to sign up may do so at either Cebu Country Club or at the Y101 FM studios located at the second floor of Gaisano Country Mall .
Tuason said that participants will be getting several premium items from Y101 FM as their tournament giveaway.She also assured that all participants who will be present during the awards ceremony will be going home with a raffle prize.
Part of the raffle prizes will be 20 guns from Armscor,which is a official presentor of the event. “There will be priceless raffles up for grabs,”Tuason said.
There will be prizes for the top three events teams of three categories- Platinum ,Gold and Silver.
Individuals with lowest gross and lowest net per handicap category will also be getting prizes.
