Woman Arrested for P1M Worth of Drugs in Negros
A woman was arrested by an implemented search warrant in Purok Malinawon, Brgy.Talay, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental last October 18, 2018.
The suspect was identified as Jocelyn Villegas, 42 a resident of the said place.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office (PDEA RO) 7 and Philippines Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) Negros Oriental conducted the search and recovered eight plastic packs suspected to contain shabu, cellular phones, various drug paraphernalia and a digital weighing scale.
The recovered plastic packs that suspected to contain shabu weighed 150 grams with an estimated value of P1,020,000.
Villegas will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
