Weddings at the Blu – The One-Stop Shop for Every Bride

Celebrating its second year, Radisson Hotel is offering another Bridal Affair event. Last June 13-14, Radisson Blu with over 40 of Cebu’s top wedding planners, musicians, florists, pastry chefs, accessories shops, fireworks dealers, convened at SM North Wing to create a venue where engaged couples could plan and shop for their dream weddings.

In that 2-day event, customers were offered a 20% discount on all of these professional wedding necessities and services, a SM Gift Registry, and a discounted Signature Wedding package from Radisson Blu.

The Signature Wedding package includes a special buffet or sit-down menu prepared by Executive Chef Roberto Kunitz or a special lauriat menus by Chinese Master Chef Peter Yeung; complimentary two nights stay in an Executive Suite; free Honeymoon at either Radisson Blu Cebu, Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Pico Sands Hotel or Taal Vista Hotel, and so much more all for the price of P1, 200 net per person for a minimum of 100 individuals.

“One thing we wanted to do was to get the value for money,” Princess Anderle, Director of Marketing and Communications said. They wanted to raise awareness that hotel weddings can be affordable.

Wedding event planners, photography professionals, accessories stands and all the suppliers displayed their capabilities and offers at the North Wing. Arrays of cakes from Mucchio di Bella, Cake Couture, and Marissa Unchuan were exhibited. Jessie Glova and Gizelle Faye were some of the make-up artist and stylist in attendance. Pink Flora, A.W. Flowers, Blush, Forever Afternoon were some of the suppliers there to offer their services.

Lord Maturan, Dexter Alazas, Philip Rodriguez, Angela Dado, Philip Tampus, Mary Ty, Jun Escario and Dino Lloren -Cebu’s top designers- showcased their wedding gowns as further inspiration for the brides.

To top it off, Radisson Blu Executive Chef Roberto Kunitz and Executive Pastry Chef Allan Barrios offered a quick demo on the wedding menus at 12 noon and wedding cakes at 3:30pm respectively.

Skin pampering and beautification services were discussed in detail by Dr. Vicki Belo -celebrity skin care expert- and Michael Sy Lim -blogger and celebrity host- at 4pm. Belo gift certificates and freebies were raffled off to the lucky attendees. Afterward, John Walt and Axel, a singing and musician duo, sang and showcased their abilities as entertainment.

These discounted services were made available once the client books on that event. From then on, whether the wedding is next year or this, the discounts and privileges still stand.
