“We Will Make a Strong Presence in Cebu” – Villar

After Twenty years in politics, former senator and Camella Homes stalwart Manny Villar is fully back in business. This time he will concentrate in Cebu.

“We are bit late in entering Cebu in terms of development. Now, we are going to come in big here. In fact, I want to supervise the projects here in Cebu,” Villar said.

As the chairman of Vista Land and Lifescapes Incorporated, Villar disclosed plans to construct more projects in Cebu, including condominium towers, subdivisions, shopping malls, and BPO complex.

According to Villar, Cebu will be “a key area for Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc.” since it provides a conducive environment for more real estate projects.

He said the company is targeting to launch three projects before the end of the year – these include another Camella Homes to be built in Mactan, a twin tower condominium project and construction of the second branch of Star Mall in Cebu, whose exact locations of the two developments were not divulged.

The first branch of Starmall, however, will open before the year ends. It is located in the South Road Properties exit in Talisay City. Villar also said that the company will be building new phases for its Camella projects in Talisay City, Talamban and Carcar City. Camella is their affordable housing development, while Lumina is the low-cost and Crown Asia is the high-end development.

The projects of Vista Land in Cebu are located in Mactan, Talamban, Carcar City, Guadalupe and Talisay City.

Vista Land and Landscapes Inc. have built more than 300,000 homes nationwide which carries the brands Camella, Crown Asia, Lessandra, Britanny and Lumina.
