WATCH: Here is the Newest Trailer to ‘The Umbrella Academy Season 2’, Showing on July 31!

Netflix releases the latest trailer to the return of their much-anticipated superhero series The Umbrella Academy Season 2, premiering on July 31, 2020, which also features an original song from Gerard Way entitled “Here Comes The End”.

“I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of The Umbrella Academy was being shot; by the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality,” Way, also the frontman of My Chemical Romance, said.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 picks up on the family where the family uses Five’s time jumping powers, which was very risky, to escape Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse. The risky plan scatters the siblings in time around Dallas Texas, each of them being stuck to a certain time period, thinking that they’re the only ones to survive the time jump.

Five will be the one to land, but he lands in the middle of nuclear doomsday.

The siblings, the Umbrella Academy, will have to find a way to bend time to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday and put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse that they escaped from–all while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins!
